Our skin is highly efficient at absorbing chemicals from our environment, and there is plenty to absorb!  The accumulative effect of these chemicals in many cases is unknown. So it’s worth making sure all the things we use routinely on our body are non-toxic.

Think about what you are putting where!  We recommend using organic cotton, unbleached sanitary products only (note that cotton is one of the most highly sprayed crops in the world).  

Toothpaste with fluoride is another contentious issue.  Even if it is beneficial topically to teeth, fluoride is a toxic substance and is unnecessary. In the USA they have the warnings on all tubes of toothpaste that have fluoride. Why risk it? Try a natural herbal toothpaste – just as effective and they taste great too!
